Should I choose a rigid, inflatable or high-pressure hose?
There are various advantages to different types of inflatable rubber boat tubs. Here are some things to consider:
Hard tub: A hard tub is made of plastic, wood or aluminum and is the heaviest and most stable type of tub. They are good for protecting the boat from damage, but
they can be difficult to store and transport as they are bulky.
Inflatable mat: An inflatable mat is made of PVC and has a sparse drop stitch (small nylon threads that hold the mat together) and is easy to roll up and take with you. They are good for protecting the boat from damage, but they are not as stable as hard and high-pressure washers.
High-pressure hose: A high-pressure hose is made of PVC or Hypalon and a drop stitch with hundreds of thousands of nylon threads connecting the top and bottom of the hose, this is what provides stability along with the high air pressure. Can be equated to a hard floor. They are easy to roll up and take with you and provide good stability and protection against damage.
It is difficult to say which type of hull is the best as it depends on what you plan to use the boat for. It may be a good idea to try different types of floors.
and see what suits you best.
